5. Klasse - "Captain Jack" by Kristi-Anne Seth

9. Klasse - "Songs my mother taught me" by  Kristi-Anne Seth

E. Jahrgang - "The importance of being earnest" by Oscar Wilde (Adaption by in-house playwright Kelly Griffiths)

Jahrgang - To "Captain Jack"

"It is important for kids to watch English theatre because they learn more English. They also learn the correct pronunciation of the English words. English outside the classroom makes learning more fun!" Luca, 5. Klasse

"I found it very nice because it was very funny and the spectators were included" Jannik, 5.Klasse

"I think the theatre was great! But there were only two actors on stage. That was a little bit awkward because Stinky Smith looks like a girl, she plays Stinky Smith. After the play the actors anwered the questions from the audience. That was nice. I hope the theatre comes back next year." Lenia, 5. Klasse

"I enjoyed the theatre play "Captain Jack". It was funny when the actors were looking for the Island and then got scared when they saw a teacher (Mrs CT). It was also funny when the actress took Jannike´s helmet and put it on Captain Jacks head." Noah, 5. Klasse

Testimonials aus dem 9. Jahrgang - to "Songs My Mother Taught Me"

"I really liked that play because it points the important issue of refugees in a relatable way out. The story of Sami and Craig shows how people from different backgrounds can connect and become friends, even if they are different. It helps us understand the challenges refugees face. This makes the play really emotional, but full of things you can learn, it helped think more about global issues and empathy. [...] I loved the singing parts really much. It has drawn attention to itself and it sounded amazing". Janne, 9. Klasse

"I really enjoyed the play and the way it was transported through the actors. Especially I liked how the play showed very clearly how Sami's character developed and the consequences the challenges she had to face as a refugee had for her character. The actors had an entertaining way in playing the play, and the songs in between made it even more enjoyable to watch". Mia Emilia, 9. Klasse

"I think the theatre was really funny especially the scene in the park. The actors were professional an it seems like they have performed it many times. The topic is important for the target group because it deals with topics like "racism" and discrimination only because people are from another country. [...] The stage was really simple, but for this type of theatre it is fantastic because, the viewers could focus on the topics presented". Mateo, 9. Klasse

"Honestly, I really liked it. That just two persons built up this play is absolutely impressive. To have a current and very important topic like racism or sexism discussed like this is a great way to get into peoples` heads and make them think about something, most of them would probably not even notice properly in their daily life. [...] For me personally there's nothing where I would say "hmm, that was a little meh" or "I didn't like this or that". I'm hopeful we can see such a play once again at our school! :)" Magda, 9. Klasse
